A 38ft Pursuit offshore powerboat built for people who want to go fast, fish hard, and feel every mile of open Gulf water beneath them.
The Vessel
Saltline is a 2021 Pursuit OS 385 — a twin-engine offshore centre console built with one purpose in mind: performance. With twin 300HP Yamaha outboards, a deep-V hull that eats through chop, and a cockpit designed around comfort and function, there is no better way to experience the Gulf of Mexico.
Twin Yamaha F300 outboards push Saltline to 50+ knots. Whether you're heading to a reef 30 miles out or racing back before sunset, the boat gets you there fast and in comfort.
Full electronics suite — Garmin chartplotter, radar, satellite radio, live bait well, rod holders, outriggers, and a full shade T-top. Every detail serves a purpose.
Premium leaning post, forward lounges, built-in coolers, freshwater shower, bow casting deck, and ample seating for a full group. Work hard, relax harder.

Guest Reviews
Captain Dana put us on fish within 20 minutes of leaving the dock. Three grouper, two amberjack, and a giant cobia. I have been on a dozen charters and this was easily the best. The boat is immaculate, the captain is professional and funny, and we were back at the dock with full coolers by 2pm.
Booked through boat.rent for my husband's birthday and it was absolutely seamless from start to finish. Dana was incredibly accommodating — we did a sandbar stop, went snorkeling, and ended with a sunset cruise. Ten of us fit comfortably with room to breathe. Cannot recommend this highly enough.
We had no fishing experience between the six of us and Captain Dana was endlessly patient, helpful, and entertaining. Everyone caught something. The boat runs incredibly smooth offshore and the whole setup — coolers, tackle, bait — everything is dialled in perfectly. Worth every dollar.
Corporate offsite for 8. Everyone showed up expecting a nice boat trip and left having had the best day of the quarter. Dana handled every detail — ice, drinks, music, the works. Three people who had never fished in their lives caught fish. Five stars doesn't cover it.

Your Captain
Dana Holt grew up fishing the Gulf Coast from a jon boat before anyone gave him permission to be offshore. He turned professional at 24, earned his USCG Master Captain's licence in 2010, and has since spent over 15,000 hours on the water between Florida, the Bahamas, and the Gulf Stream.
He runs Saltline with the same competitive edge he brought to tournament fishing — which explains why his guests consistently out-fish every other charter in the harbour. If the fish are there, Dana finds them.
Home Port
Saltline departs from Dolphin Landings Marina on St. Pete Beach — one of the most strategically positioned marinas on Florida's Gulf Coast. Within minutes you're in open water with direct offshore access and proximity to the best fishing grounds on the eastern Gulf.

If your question isn't answered below, send Captain Dana a message directly through boat.rent — he responds within a couple of hours.
All charters include the vessel, USCG licensed captain, fuel, all safety equipment, and the gear specific to your chosen charter (rods, tackle, bait for fishing trips; snorkel gear for cruise charters). Florida saltwater fishing licences for all guests are included. Food, beverages, and gratuity are not included.
None whatsoever. Captain Dana has taught complete beginners to catch trophy fish on his first cast. He walks every guest through the basics and adjusts the teaching to the pace of the group. First-timers and experienced anglers are equally welcome.
Cancellations 14+ days in advance receive a full refund. Within 7–14 days, 50% refund. Within 7 days, the deposit is forfeited. Weather cancellations (unsafe sea conditions at Dana's discretion) are fully refunded or rescheduled at no charge. We recommend travel insurance for all bookings.
Absolutely. Guests are encouraged to bring their own food, drinks, and beverages. The boat has two 100-quart built-in coolers pre-loaded with ice. Alcohol is permitted. We just ask that guests drink responsibly and manage their own seasickness — if in doubt, take Dramamine the night before.
Yes. Saltline is a family-friendly charter — children of all ages are welcome. USCG-approved children's life jackets are on board. We recommend inshore or sandbar trips for younger children. Minimum age for offshore trips is 6 years old, weather and conditions permitting.
All bookings are made through boat.rent using a secure, encrypted payment system. A 30% deposit holds your date. The balance is due 72 hours before departure. All major credit cards accepted. Your payment is held in escrow by boat.rent until the charter is complete, protecting both parties.
